Restored 1981 Toyota Land Cruiser. I just got it back from the shop and I hauled it to my garage where it will set until sold. The restoration took 3 years and a bunch of money. This vehicle only has 111K on it so you can be sure that there are many more miles left to travel. The engine is stock with all smog equipment as well.
Many, many items were either replaced or repaired on this cruiser here is a "partial" list:
Complete weather stripping, new drivers side floor panel, new rear quarter panels, window tracks and felts, all new seat covers (OEM), new rear lights, new side lights, new rear reflectors, new rear emblems, new trouble light, rear seal, new battery, new spark plugs, new windshield, new paint, new side mirrors, new dome light.
There are some very minor things that need to be accomplished they are as follows:
Finish putting on seat covers, I hope to have this done soon, purchase lower dash pads, 2 are missing, find rear view mirror, find out why brake lights don’t work, minor wiring I am sure, new headlights, fix window washer, replace small plate in bed, missing.
